Hello,

My name is Linda Arbelaez and it is a pleasure to share with you how I started this world of "Cricut, Glue & Ideas".

We started as a surprise gift. Yeap! My husband made the decision to gift me a Cricut machine, which I wanted for a long time but it was never possible for me to give myself this rather expensive gift. I dedicated my first project to my husband because thanks to him this had become a reality and not a dream. My husband, observing my talent in how I was able to create and design his card, told me that I should make some to sell since my ideas were unique. Before making the decision, I got a lot of support from him since he has helped me stock up on products since we both love everything that has to do with paper, pencils, colors, etc., even so, not having sales or knowing that this could not work. 

I decided to accept the proposal. Something we have learned is to do the things we like the most. I enjoy doing it although some take me 2 or 3 hours but I love to do them. I like to think that in the end, each card will reach someone else's hands if it has something written with all your heart inside it and can express what you feel for that special person. I think my cards are not the right price for a sale or to grow as a business but it really doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if they are much cheaper than other handmade cards and that they are making money for it. It is important to me what I can carry inside and can make someone smile, those acts are priceless. 

The name was created for three important reasons: first, because of "Cricut" since everything started from there. "Glue" because it is a very important product for these types of projects, I really couldn't put my pieces together without a good glue. "Ideas" is essential to create everything that my imagination can create. Without ideas I also couldn't make all these kinds of beautiful cards.

In the end I always turn to us since my husband is part of this team and so are you.
